Product Description

 

Welcome!
Up for sale is a TTL Bluetooth module for use with micro controllers.

Bluetooth Board Features
  • High quality brand new Bluetooth module acting as slave
  • Replaces serial port cables or serial to USB devices to communicate with other micro controllers or a PC
  • Pairing code is 1234
  • On board 3.3v power regulator for use in either 3.3V or 5V systems
  • On board LED to indicate power to module, and connection to host
  • Connections broken out to reset and switch to AT mode
  • small footprint of just 38x17 mm
  • Header pins included
  • Default Baud Rate is 9600
Pinout is as follows:
AT:Connect with VCC to access AT mode (not necessary with this module)
RST:Connect with VCC to reset module
VCC:3.3 or 5V input
RX:Bluetooth serial input
TX:Bluetooth serial output
GND:Ground
 
Note:  TX and RX are LVTTL, meaning 3.3V signals.  While I have tested the module extensively directly using the 5V TTL signals (Arduino for example) with no problems, I cannot promise that damage will never occur, and it is therefore recommended to use transistors to interface with a 5V TTL signal.
 
To enter AT mode:
  • Make sure device is not connected over the Bluetooth gateway (CON-PWR pin is flashing)
  • Send data to the device via the TX and RX pins, NOT over the Bluetooth connection

Default:

 Slave, 9600 baud rate, N, 8, 1. Pincode 1234

1. Communications Test :

Sent : AT

receive : OK 

2. Change baud rate :

Sent : AT+BAUD1

receive : OK1200

 Sent : AT+BAUD2

receive : OK2400

Baud rate setting can be save even power down.

 3. Change Bluetooth device name:

Sent : AT+NAMEdevicename

receive : OKname

(devicename is the name you want the device to be , and it will be searched with this name)

Name setting can be save even power down.

 4. Change Pincode:

Sent : AT+PINxxxx

receive : OKsetpin

(xxxx is the pin code you set)

Pin code can be save even power down.
